DVD Reviews of Yours, Mine and OursDVD Review: hysterical Summary: 5 StarsThis is a real feel good movie.
Imagine twenty one children? Well, you will after seeing this hilarious movie.
My favorite scene is where the future husband's sons get Lucille Ball drunk. That scene is just hilarious and she plays her role so well.
Watch this and learn how to not take everything so serious, relax and enjoy.
DVD Review: Awesome Service Summary: 5 StarsI received the movie I was looking for with speedy delivery and at a great price! I would recommend this company to others.
DVD Review: Yours, mine and ours Summary: 5 StarsTotally enjoyable- Lucy is Lucy and Henry Fonda plays to her comedic genius wonderfully. The story is wonderful and funny and enjoyable. It is wonderful way to spend 1.5 hour. I recommend it to anyone and have watched it several times within the month I have owned it.
DVD Review: Will never be "topped" Summary: 5 StarsNot even the Dennis Quaid remake can top this classic movie. Henry Fonda and Lucille Ball are priceless in this true story. It's worth watching over and over again. When two large families merge into one there has to be all kinds of problems that have to be addressed. The humorous and sobering side of life are handled in this film and lessons can be learned no matter the person's age. Like I said earlier, this original film cannot be out done. It's classic and worth having in your video collection.
DVD Review: WIDESCREEN WIDESCREEN WIDESCREEN Summary: 1 StarsNo-one wants to watch movies in FOOLSCREEN, well, Some Do and that's the reason why those of us who like WIDESCREEN are paying the price.
These Moron DVD companies need to start putting movies in their ORIGINAL ASPECT RATIOS, The days of Lying to people and giving them The FOOLSCREEN versions is Long gone. If i want FOOLSCREEN i'll watch TV.
As long as people keep buying GARBAGE, DVD companies will keep selling it.
People think that when they watch a WIDESCREEN movie the Top and Bottom of the of the picture are being Cut Off by the Black Lines, The Top and Bottom aren't what's missing, The Sides are. When will you people FIGURE that out. For those of you who haven't PLEASE go to....

This is a Video Short, from (Turner Classic Movies) Explained by 4 Legendary Directors about the difference between Wide and Fullscreen.
All 4 of these Directors, BTW, hate Fullscreen, because it ReDirects their Films.
Yours, Mine and Ours 1968, Aspect Ratio is 2.35:1, This means thet close to 40% of the movie is GONE, or what i like to call--Readers Digested.
As Edmond Gauthier wrote
QUOTE-It's been butchered down from Widescreen to Standard Screen for no reason whatsoever.QUOTE
As i've said before

Description of Yours, Mine and OursBased on a true story and co-starring Van Johnson and Tom Bosley, Yours, Mine And Ours keeps the laughs coming in a "clean, wholesome family comedy" (Life). This population explosion occurs when widowed Navy nurse Helen North (Ball) meets handsome Naval officer and widower Frank Beardsley (Fonda). They have much in commontoo much in factshehas eight kids and he has ten, and when they tie the knot, anarchy reigns in the Beardsley-North merger. The opposing camps of step-siblings do all they can to sabotage each other and their parents' union. But, through it all, mother lovingly cares for her "troops," while father patiently coaches his coming-of-age kids in more delicate matters, and resentment soon gives way to respect and something bigger than anyone could have imagined! Predating The Brady Bunch by almost a decade, Yours, Mine, and Ours is a screwball comedy about the ultimate blended family. When the widow Helen North (Lucille Ball) marries the widower Frank Beardsley (Henry Fonda), the two must find a place to house their 18--count 'em, 18!--kids (she had 8, he had 10). Based on a real-life couple, the film details the nuances of everyday life in a house overrun with children. From getting all the kids ready for school to sending off an older son to war, this well-written film is wholesome entertainment that doesn't condescend. Look for the very young Tracy Nelson as Germaine. --Jenny Brown
