DVD Review: So Very Enjoyable!

I was only used to Yanni's instrumental music, so I was curious as to just how good his music would be with Vocals. After reading the other reviewer's comments I decided to take the plunge and I was indeed rewarded.
The music was great and I loved watching the singers. I initially thought they'd just stand in the background but it was indeed a true performance out front with some sexy and powerful choreography! Two of the four singers (Nathan and Chloe) ooze immense stage presence, confidence and ease while vocalising their magnificent strong voices. They truly make it a worthwhile production. Ender (a guy) is also a flirty European showman with a good voice too. I just found Leslie (the blonde) to have quite a passive voice and I often could not make out the words she was singing (and she WAS singing in English).
The songs are sung in Spanish, Italian and English and every singer is lovely eye candy to appreciate - for both the guys and gals to enjoy. And if you are a leg man, you'll love it even more. I was a tad put off by the female singers frequently gazing lovingly and being a bit sexual towards Yanni and him smiling back at them, when there is a 35 year difference between them (especially as he frequently referred to them as 'kids'.) And there was one routine where Yanni pretended to be a puppet master of the girls writhing on his piano. It felt a tad inappropriate. However, I suppose that's just a reflection of where I'm at - each to his own. The music and individual choreography of that song was great though.
There are also about 4 of Yanni's songs that are just him and his orchestra ... and they are wow too!! His orchestra has such personality and you can really feel their vibrance, passion and immense talent! They are such brilliant people! I would have enjoyed more of them alone with him.
The editing of the concert is also superb, highly professional and a feast for the eyes.
I found the other Spanish singers in the Extra Latin Bonus section to be not as interesting or powerful (voice or stage presence). However, the music was pleasant.
As I watched this DVD I thought, 'Aren't we so incredibly lucky that such immensely passionate and talented people came together to create such a phenomenal showcase - giving us enormous joy!" Wow, it's great it is to be alive, isn't it?!
I'm glad I bought it. I got it yesterday and have already watched it twice. I'm happy with my purchase. Maybe you will be too.
