My doctor recommended pilates to get my core muscles back in shape after having a baby, and it worked so well!! I got kinda tired of doing the same routine over and over again, but I was lucky if my baby would let me do 20 minutes, and she wouldn't let me drop her off at the gym's day care forever!! Yes, I got sucked in by a late night infomercial... and this program is better then I expected. The pace and level of difficulty are good for beginners. Mari explains things pretty well and her "students" do a good job of demonstrating. I used them for many months before I started looking for more Pilates DVDs. A good purchase.
