DVD Review: Totally Enjoyable

I watched this show while it was on TV and found it very entertaining. Normally, I would not watch a program like this, I am a 63 year old woman, but since my grandchildren, are growing up, I thought it might, keep me up with the times! It was entertaining, and gives a lot of insight into the world of horse racing.

I decided to purchase the series, as I think my grandchildren will enjoy it when they are old enough to watch such programming on TV.

I just wich FOX would put out the movie on DVD which spauned the series featuring the same cast members.

DVD Review: Nice show with mostly compelling characters

This a nice little surprise of a show, with the wonderful Genevieve Cortese more than holding her own as the star, even among more experienced actors like Dennis Weaver and Nana Visitor. Wildfire is a thoroughbred racehorse whom Kris Furillo loves and has been taking care of since her release from juvie prison. Also involved are a stoic trainer, a likeable kid, and a mixture of haves and have-nots from the local surroundings.
I'm a bit puzzled as to why the young boy and Grandpa seem to flow in and out of the show, and why we should care so much about Dani's search for her mom. However, these are minor quibbles. You can watch this show with older kids or even adults and enjoy it.

Wildfire is one of my favorite shows and the first season is my second favorite season (the third is my 1st favorite)..i loved this season but i hated that kris and junior broke up over something kind of stupid..oh well at least they get married in the end...great season..:)

DVD Review: For the Horse Lover in you...

I cannot do justice to the storyline like other reviewers have in their reviews of this great series on horses. I purchased the available DVD sets for my teenage daughter's birthday, as she is a horse lover and really enjoyed the Wildfire series when it was on TV.

I have also sat down to watch the DVDs with my daughter, and I have also been "hooked" on the story so to speak. It is an enjoyable series full of intrigue about horses, but sometimes there may be a little too much of a `soap opera' during some of the episodes for me. Overall though, I think that it is a great series for horse enthusiasts to enjoy. I'll probably also get the other DVDs in the series as time goes by.

I would highly recommend this series for the teenager and/or adult who likes anything about horses, as there are great scenes about this beautiful animal - lots to love for horse lovers!
