John Candy is hysterical in this one. a ton of one-liners and sight gags put together, make this a classic Candy picture. anyone who is interested in police/detective type mysteries, will absolutely get a kick out of his combination of Sherlock Holmes/Tommy boy character. this is a must see for John Candy fans.DVD Review: A great movie

This movie and "Uncle Buck" are two of my favorite "Candy" films". John Candy has put out other greats as well but my top 2 are the above. In this movie, Candy is a bumbling detective but seems to get the job done "the Candy way". He knows everything, but what is going on! It's Great! The rest of the cast are irreplaceable. But It, Watch It.
