DVD Review: Capacitance and Resisidence

The title of this review is a quote of something Gregg said during this talk. That along with plenty of ums and ahs gives you most of what you can expect.
Gregg wants to be the star, the authority. With his big lion hair he starts both the DVD and his lecture with him playing the flute. He can play it ok. It's hard to determine exactly what his main theme for this talk is because he is jumping around all over the place. During his talk he follows a familiar pattern of quoting different sources, often incompletely or incorrectly, and does not tie them back to a verifiable reference. Did I say his hair is really big, puffy, and long, in fact it's distracting.
At one point he says that if we can mirror inwardly the machines we have created outwardly then we become compassion. Um, right. In part 2 when talking about how we see our parents he keeps repeating the same things like four or five times.
This is mainly self help 101 for those who have left organized religion. But then again most folks who would potentially be looking at this DVD have already done that. So I can't fathom who the target audience is. For this DVD he has left his common form of referring to science and has dabbled into transpersonal psychology. He is way out of his league and I can't recommend this DVD to anyone.
