DVD Reviews of Unlocking The Mystery Of LifeDVD Review: A Must Watch Video - on the Origins of Life Summary: 5 StarsThis is a GREAT and extremely well done video on the origins of life and Intelligent Design. This is no ordinary video - these are some of the smartest minds in the field of science and Mathematics. This video carefully weighs the evidence against Darwin and his theory of evolution, and shows convincingly the difficulty in proving it. Not that these Scientists are against evolution, but they are honest and open to wherever the evidence leads. This is an extremely POWERFUL and CONVINCING video with a lot of information. The complexity of life section alone will blow your mind. A must see!
DVD Review: Scientific History Summary: 5 StarsThe teaching of science should include how scientists think and how they work. This video tells the story of how many scientists, experts in their fields of research, came to believe that studies in molecular biology show that information encoded in nucleic acids indicate design. Every science teacher and every science student should see this documentary!
DVD Review: Fantastic DVD showing Gods Creation Summary: 5 StarsI showed this DVD to my Sunday School class. It is jam packed with scientific data that humans were created and blows Darwins theory out of the water. I wish college Biology classes would show this to their students. God bless
DVD Review: A Good Introduction To Intelligent Design Summary: 5 StarsThis is a powerful introduction to the subject of intelligent design.
'Unlocking The Mystery of Life' features several top scientists and philosophers exploring the issue of the origin of life. As Darwin's theory is the predominant 'religion' of the academic/scientific communities, lots of this is a response to that. The commentators consist of molecular biologists and various others.
They make the case with several pieces of evidence, any one of which can raise major doubts about Darwin's work. Some of the powerful arguments made include: Irreducible Complexity, biological machines and their rather obvious design features, the incredible complexity of DNA and the problems that creates for those arguing against design, and several others.
I strongly recommend this. I also recommend that anyone interested in this subject read several books on the subject. One of the best authors in this area is Phillip Johnson, who is also featured prominently in this DVD.
DVD Review: Awesome Summary: 5 StarsFinally a presentation that isn't AFRAID to ofend Darwin! His theory is out dated and it is about time people are actually pointing it out. Everything we see screams design, not luck or chance. The cell alone is amazing and way too complex for chance!
Description of Unlocking The Mystery Of LifeIn 1859, Charles Darwin published, On the Origin of Species . In it, he argued that all of life on earth was the product of undirected natural processes. Time, chance, and natural selection. Since Darwin, biologists have relied on such processes to account for the origin of living things. Yet today, this approach is being challenged as never before. "Unlocking the Mystery of Life" is the story of top-notch, contemporary scientists who are advancing a powerful idea -- "the theory of intelligent design." Using state-of-the-art computer animation, "Unlocking the Mystery of Life" transports you into the interior of the living cell to explore systems and machines that bear the unmistakable hallmarks of design. Discover the intricacy of a microscopic bacterial rotary motor, which spins at 100,000 rpm. Within the nucleus explore the wonder of DNA, a thread-like molecule that stores instructions to build the essential components of every living organism. It is part of a biological information processing system more complex and more powerful than any computer network. This compelling documentary examines an idea with the power to revolutionize our understanding of life... and to unlock the mystery of its origin.
