it's a good tough traditional style boxing workout, the Coach and his students cover a lot of nice exercises I have put into my own boxing routine. most of all the bag training drills have built up my stamina and I now spar without gassing out as quick so its helped a lot,

This DVD works like a yoga exercise. You watch and try to do what they are doing on the dvd. But it lacked the attention to detail necessary to really feel like you were even part of what they were doing. Since he was telling his guy's that were working out what to do. But he wasn't telling you the viewer anything.
It was basically like watching people work out while the instructor ignores you. Was pretty disappointed in this program especially for how much it cost. This program is totally not worth $39.95 as advertised. Maybe worth $5.00 to someone that has never seen a speed bag or know absolutely anything about boxing.
I learned more about boxing from the contender show on tv then I did from this program. Very disappointing.

There is nothing fancy about the boxing workout on this DVD but it sure is tough. The first time I tried following along I couldn't make it through the whole thing but now I am feeling stronger and making it all the way. What I like is all the routines and exercises are pure boxing related and not some silly Tae Bo stuff. Coach Getz relates all the exerciises to what happens in a real boxing match to give you optimum fitness in the ring. Its good information and the bag workout routine will really challenge your stamina and endurance, its gut burning. A good lesson for those who think boxing is easy.
