DVD Review: A great directorial debut!!

In Akira Wing's "Turning Point" the world is not what it seems. This film is the directorial debut of director/composer Akira Wing, and it is definitely worth a watch. From the catchy theme, to the intricate plot, we see subtle references to other great filmmakers like M. Night Shyamalan and the great Sergio Leone.
The film runs an hour, and makes you wish for more of the great theme music. If I were to knock one thing, it would have to be the costuming of the main character. I realize what it's purpose is, but it is almost painful to look at. I also read somewhere that the main character caught pneumonia during the shoot. I really don't know, but it looks seriously cold in some of the scenes.
The film has serious religious undertones which are never fully explained. It would be interesting to hear the directors comments on the church in the film, and its significance.
