DVD Review: Turbo Jam without the JAM

I have tried almost all the Turbo Jam dvds, and I have to say this one is not one of my favorites. It does give you a great workout for your arms with all those punches you do, but this one isn't as fun. I felt like the intervals were way too long, and the Turbo was the same Turbo from Fat Blaster. Chalene's cues are way off, and I got so confused and mixed up, frustrated because I couldn't get it. It was way too fast. Usually she isn't like this, she's more on top of her cues and timing. Cardio Party 1 and especially Fat Blaster were great, high impact, high energy, and fun, and it wasn't hard for me to catch on. Even for an advanced Turbo Jammer, I wouldn't go with this one. Anyway, I'll keep up with it since I did get a workout, and it's nice to change up the routines. The tube exercises at the end were ok, she went a bit too fast as I couldn't get my foot to stay in the tube and then she was already done with it. The capoeira exercises felt a bit too long in this one too. Also the camera kept moving to the sides of people, so you couldn't really see what was going on, or how to do a specific workout. Someone different must have edited this one because it's not as edited a well as the others. If this was your first TJ experience, don't be let down- get Fat Blaster or one of the Cardio Parties!

Chalene herself made a few errors but it's not something you get lost on.
Turbo Jam is amazing, I've lost so much weight with it, this was the only other video I needed, it's great and I'm very happy with how it was delivered and how fast too (within 2 days it arrived).

Honestly, you can do this workout for the rest of your life and still get results. This is my fourth rotation doing turbo jam. I switch between P90X for a couple months and Punch Kick & Jam + abs for a couple months (abs workout is on the cardio party 1 dvd). It's a great program for anyone that wants to see results quickly and have fun while working their butt off. The time in the workout literally flies by. I definitely recommend. I love this workout. It is definitely more athletic, vs. the dancey workouts in the rest of Turbo Jam. It is a good change up and I definitely feel it.
