DVD Review: Woody Collection (Sets 1-3) - A Great Deal!!
Summary: 5 Stars
One of the best deals on Amazon, averaging $5.53 per title (if you're lucky enough to not own any of the tiles already, as I was). I did own 5 on VHS, and decided it was time to replace them with DVDs. The total for those 5 individually came out to $59.95. The "Collection Sets 1-3" did not originally come up on my Woody Allen DVD-button link from IMDB, but when I entered "Woody Allen" directly into the Amazon search, there it was! I'd previously considered the individual boxed sets, but since my original aim was to only replace the 5 films on VHS, it would have gotten too expensive ($129 more), since the 5 tiles I was wanting to replace were divided among the 3 sets. But once the "Collection Sets 1-3" came up (only $45 more for 14 additional titles), it was a no-brainer! And I've already seen two of the titles, and the quality is great. Caution: If you like Woody Allen as much as I do, you might get the feeling that you just robbed somebody. Don't worry, just stop at a gas station and fill up, and the feelings will offset. :) Thank you Amazon, or MGM, or Woody... or whomever is responsible for such a great deal!!
