DVD Review: REALLY sorry I wasted an hour on this

This DVD was a great disappointment. For being a nostalgic look back at some names like The Missing Link,Kevin Sullivan, Kamala, Kerry von Erich, the matches themselves are for the most part very inconsequential. The talents of these icons of oddity are barely shown, for the matches often end very quickly or through outside interference, continuing a storyline that the DVD doesn't present at all. All of the sound comes from the original commentary from the matches, so it feels like you've come across someone's VHS tape that has been used continually to tape shows and you end up with a smattering of matches that make very little sense because there's no sense of context.
I'm rather sorry I even watched this one.
DVD Review: The biggest wrestlers are midgets, the greatest are women

The Editorial review for this dvd is biased, except that there are 56 minutes of images. It's a poor compilation of the worse played-for-comic-relief wrestling you get on telly, for free, with two notable exceptions.
There is a 8 min midget wrestling match featuring a young, well-built Karate Kidd, wrestling naked feet at 93lbs, against a real veteran Little Tokyo, 88lbs; even if their routine is predictable, there is a true show of athleticism none of the other men in this compilation can claim. Without nothing to place the match in time, you should know this is a match from the classic American International Wrestling (AIW), of Kentucky, that stopped promotions long ago; this match will be of 1999 or earlier - considering Little Tokyo's age.
Sherry Martel, looking older than her 27 years then, but still sexy and tight packed, defends her recently won World Women's Championship at the American Wrestling Association (AWA). The contestant is the eager blonde Candi Devine, younger and supple. These two women show they have the balls to actually give and take some blows and apply telling holds - as professionally as their male counterparts rarely do. The match took place October 17, 1985, in Manitoba, Winnipeg, and lasts about 9 min.
So, 17 out 56 minutes (30%) of the tape is bearable in terms of content. Considering the poor quality of editing, the nulity of the so-called introduction, the non existence of notes on the matches or the wrestlers, the inclusion of a 'music video' that is nothing but a collage of The Missing Link's photos on a noisy background, and that another reviewer was right about the picture and sound problems of the whole thing - you must be brave to buy this tape.
I don't know about the midgets match, but the classic title defence by Ms Martel is available in various bootleg wrestling compilations.
A note to the FBI: I read the copyright protection warning on the dvd, but I recommend you start taking action, and applying that US$250,000 fine to producers of filthy 'documentaries' like this.

The DVD is full of wrestlers that I don't know. Yet I do know about the Bushwackers, and that is why I bought this DVD.

All the videos look like it was copied strait form the TV. The sound is very, very bad. One minute it was loud as heck, then it when so low that I had to turn up the sound all the way up.
This DVD is not a good buy.
