In the world of TV these days let me say the quality of all these TV Shows,reality shows,etc.. just isn't as good as TV once was 5 or 10 years ago.I am not a subscriber of cable or satellite for the main reason alot of show lack substance and there is way too many reality shows.Watching this show The Unit is an excellent military drama series full of action,substance,and a great surrounding cast of characters.Much like the TV series 24,The Shield,Rescue Me, and many others out there this had my full attention and at the edge of my seat the whole time.Only a handful of TV series still are putting out new seasons but I feel that CBS made a huge mistake by ending this series after season four.Dennis Haysbert is such a great actor and hope to see him in more future TV series and movies upcoming.Whether your in the military or not this is just a great show all the way around and once you watch the first season you will be hooked.DVD Review: The Perfect Television Show

The Unit is, in my family's opinion, the best television show ever put on television. The characters are so multidimensional. It is their intelligence and strengths that appeal to us so much. Each character is amazing by him or herself, but combined, they are incredible.
Truthfully, this show is so good, you forget you are watching a television series and not just a nice long movie. You care about the characters, you are riveted by the scripts and left craving for many more episodes when you are done.
Imagine strong men who speak multiple languages, can converse on any subject, don't use obscenities, and aren't afraid to be gentle when necessary. Then imagine the women in their lives who give as much as their soldiers. Women who are strong and caring. Then combine them with true to live plots and filming so good it is unexpected in a television show. Imagine all that and you have the unit.
I wish any station would pick them up again. They would add thousands of new viewers, my family at the forefront. Wish I could give it 20 stars.

I have been watching the Unit since the beginning. This season was sad due to the loss of one of the members and how it effects the Unit. This is a show that I will watch over and over again. My husband and I just recently started watching the Unit and have absolutely loved it. There is something for everyone. My husband loves the action/adventure (things blowing up), I love the depth of the characters and we both love the storyline including the military and what it entails.
We enjoyed the series 24 and were fond of the character President Palmer played by Dennis Haysbert who is one of the main characters in The Unit. He has such a strong presence in any role he plays. The Unit has chosen it's actors and actresses well. Those that are not on the show any longer will be missed greatly.
If you are looking for a good series to watch, you need to purchase the Unit. We are trying to patiently wait for the Unit Season 4 to be released next month. We wish we'd known about the series sooner.
