DVD Review: Dr. Hyman does it again!

After having multiple health issues and defining some lifestyle changes that worked for me, I came across Dr. Mark Hyman on PBS a couple of years ago and purchased his program. What unfolded before my eyes was scientific explanations for the simple changes I had been making in my life (through trial and error and no help from my doctors)that had made profound positive changes in my health. I have been a real supporter of Dr. Mark Hyman's system of wellness ever since. After being allergy tested, I removed all grains (I was allergic to all of them--not to mention many other things, and yes, chocolate) and refined sugar from my diet, I lost 130 pounds. This was quite an undertaking being a pastry chef/baker and having owned a european bakery for almost 10 years. After watching Dr. Hyman's program, I finally knew why I had such success and was able to implement so many more "healthful hints" with Dr. Hyman's guidance. The positive changes that were to follow are too many to mention. Once again, with The Ultramind Solution he absolutely hits the mark with his system on health and wellness, confirmed by scientifically proven research and functional medicine. It is about time our physicians walk with us on our health journey by not temporarily stopping symptoms but, by understanding the system of functional medicine that Dr. Mark Hyman so clearly describes in all of his literature and dvd's. I am so thankful to have stumbled across his program on PBS. He confirmed the changes I was making and added so many more that have so positively impacted my life--physically, mentally and spiritually. Knowing that all of the information is backed up by proven scientific research gave me the confidence to move forward in my ultra-wellness health journey for life.
