DVD Review: Too Far Fetched
Summary: 2 Stars
It is one thing to twist a plot to keep the story interesting. Hollywood takes their already twisted view of reality and tries to twist liberal failings into the failings of the Republican party. Political intrigue exists, no doubt, but the tired "war for oil" cry is a mantra that must find it's end at some point. A Republican president that has an illicit homosexual affair with a aid? Give me a break. Clintonesque (minus the homosexuality).
Minus the Political aspects, the attempted "assassination" that was supposed put together by the best and brightest of the intelligence world from many nations was full of holes. Far too unbelievable.
I did like the intrigue of the Canadian-American merger, however that wasn't developed enough. The idea of electronic voting machines being very fallible was also to close to the truth for comfort.
The southern senator that throws all she believes into the wind for the love of a former spouse is far fetched. Over all, it was a waste of time and money. I do not recommend this movie at all.
