Blu-ray Review: Great movie.....fact
Summary: 5 Stars
Reading some of the negative reviews on this movie I came to realize that some people have no patients and lack creative and authentic tastes when it comes to films.
Now I understand that not everyone can like or enjoy this movie and everybody is entitled to their opinions...after saying that I'm hoping all you ignorant kids and older fat useless slops with no life will not comment since I executed your obvious, overused arguments that everybody else (that matters) dismisses anyway.
Anyway being from Gloucester, MA I with no doubt have a much more appreciation for this movie than someone on the West Coast, but that doesn't mean they can't enjoy this movies based on actual events of a group of fishermen in one of the most rare and dangerous storms to hit the North Atlantic.
I'm not a critic so I'm not going to try and write a review on this movie or any movie for that matter, but I will say that the acting and direction should not be victim of negative criticism. Its top notch in my opinion. Though some of the Gloucester and Boston accents are a little over the top the characters are still very authentic to people who live in Gloucester and the New England area.
Some people may say that this movie drags and is boring to them. Basically saying what a child would say, which is why their opinions aren't too creditable. Sorry there can't be action every two seconds for you mindless thoughtless ADD/ADHD freaks, but good for the rest of you would intellegent people out there, definilty check this movie out. And it doesn't hurt to get real blazed beforehand. Cuz everything is better on weeed.
