DVD Review: Hysterical
Summary: 5 Stars

Once they added the crazy son as the new boss, this show became even funnier, "FATHER!" The plots are insane (in a good way), and this and the third season had a stream of more developed and sophisticated plotting and loop backs to initial themes. My favorites, the German Cannibal, the Dinner Party, When Jen is the new P.A., the Charity Calendar, and when Roy is involved unknowingly in the implementation of a crime. This is a great show and I want Season 4 already.

DVD Review: "Memory IS RAM!"

So glad I found this on IFC. The DVD is a good upgrade from the bad reception my satellite service provides for that channel. While not exactly perfect for an HD viewing experience (we are in the Blu-Ray/Avatar age now afterall) at least the DVD will fill the screen on your LCD TV if you are fortunate enough to have one - no letterbox bars thankfully. Aside from the lackluster video quality that an HD system will expose on a DVD, the disc has some very cool menus and all the episodes are "Bree-liant" to quote Moss' character (again) and more than make up for any points that could be taken off for the video format. All three main characters - Roy, Moss, and Jen - are hilarious and the stories are tight. It's like Seinfeld and The Office meet Monty Python and Guy Ritchie with a bit of classic Three's Company/Bosom Buddies old-school 80's sitcom hijinks thrown in for good measure. The real standout for me is the Douglas Reynholm character played by Matt Berry. I think he is only in about half the episodes but he's so good in this. He's like an awesome mash-up of Jack Black, Meat Loaf, Austin Powers, and J. Peterman (from Seinfeld)! Buy this disc and watch repeatedly, I can't think of anything better out there right now.

The IT Crowd is one of those comedy's that you can keep watching over and over again it is so hilarious. If you like the Office you'll love this show. I first watched this show online before it was released in the US, and after 2 years I finally was able to get it, so overjoyed.

DVD Review: Hit Their Stride

From the very first episode of this season to the last, they really hit their comedic stride. I thought this season was more developed and funnier than the first. I like that Noel Fielding was featured a bit more and that we got to see the characters out side of the work place and of course hilarity ensues.
