I highly recommend this DVD. The production quality isn't great, so there are times when the music is too loud and the instructor is a bit drowned out by it. However, you can always hear her well enough to follow. The workout itself is worth the annoyance of the music.
There are several sections to the workout, so you can skip forward or back to different parts and change your routine whenever you want. The instructor keeps you looking at your heart rate monitor (if you are wearing one... it's not required) so you can see how your body is responding. I was surprised to find that, even during sections where the workout seemed easier, my heart rate always stays right in my target zone. I burn lots of calories while enjoying the work. I never get bored. I never feel overexerted.
Amazon doesn't offer the DVD right now, but you can order it directly from the "Hollywood Trainer" web site. My DVD got to me lightening fast. Great service!

This was the first Dvd I purchased of hers and I was immediately hooked. She has so much energy and she makes it look so simple. I like that she encourages you to continue trying and that it gets easier. I have this dvd and two of her other dvds which I switch back and forth and I love all of them. She gives a great! workout. This workout is exactly what I like; interesting, fast-paced, challenging but not over-the-top. The video is roughly fifty minutes long, but it flies by.
I would not recommend this workout for fitness newbies, but I definitely would recommend it for kick boxing newbies. Jeanette's direction and the beginner/lower impact variations of the movements really allow for quick catching-on. The workout is still great for the intermediate kick boxer (such as myself).
My only gripe is the music. Ugh. Really awful, particularly during the warm up. But once you've familiarized yourself with the routine and no longer need the verbalized direction, mute the volume and listen to your own music choice. At least that's what I've done.
