DVD Review: I love it!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I love this show it's great.I don't understand why people are always saying that they don't understand why these girls are famous..um maybe it's because they have a tv show!! It's like the most watched show on MTV..and it great!!

DVD Review: Everytime it gets more boring
Summary: 2 Stars

First and Second Season were great, all the drama going on, the fights, almost real, however, this third season is so boring !! It get most acted all the time, there's not even a story! I think the price of this set dont worth this season.

DVD Review: Pornography Without the Sex
Summary: 1 Stars

"The Hills" is too inert to function as a guilty pleasure. Almost literally nothing happens. Perfectly turned out and indistinguishable-except-for-hair-color twentysomething girls wander from one generic L.A. location to another having meandering conversations. Their nominal spats over boys and personal slights are all glancing and muffled, never registering as actual conflict. The unscripted but clearly manufactured dialog is disorientingly stiff, like outtakes from a crime scene reenactment or a TV movie where all the beats are off. There are times when the utter vacuousness rises to a kind of "Godot"-like perfection, but these are passing moments interspersed amid long stretches of tedium. Because scene after scene of involves women in tight dresses milling around brightly lit rooms for no discernible reason, "The Hills" resembles nothing so much as a pornographic movie. Except someone has gone through this porno and cut out all the sex scenes.

DVD Review: POOR JOB WITH DVD - Disappointing!
Summary: 2 Stars

Poor job done on such a large season. Best season yet, which is why I was so disappointed when I got it to find that my Tivo'd episodes were better! The DVD really did not have too many extras, that was a bummer. Seemed to be put together in a hurry. Then some wasted time on a Pepsi show that had nothing to do with the Hills. Biggest bummer was all of the music from original episodes swapped out for some crappy no name songs.

Description of The Hills - The Complete Third Season

The girls of The Hills are back for another season but this time it's a whole different story. Whitney has graduated college and is dealing with the stress of her first real job and the drama of being newly single. Audrina is trying to handle her first real boyfriend ever but hitting the town every night with her single roommate Lauren won't make it easy. Heidi's trying to play house with Spencer and deal with the separation from her best friend Lauren but when Spencer wants to take their relationship to the next level who can Heidi turn to for advice? Lauren's had enough of being single and is looking for Mr. Right but with new responsibilities at Teen Vogue a new roommate and a boyfriend from her past back in her life how will she ever find him? Lauren and Heidi haven't spoken at all since Heidi moved in with Spencer. Is Hollywood big enough for one group of close friends who have been torn in two? And when this feud comes to a head how will Lauren hold it all together?System Requirements:Running Time: 594 minutesFormat: DVD MOVIE Genre:?TELEVISION/SERIES & SEQUELS Rating:?NR UPC:?097368530843 Manufacturer No:?853084
The third season of The Hills is alive with the sound of arguing, crying, and making up (sort of) by the telegenic quartet known as Lauren, Heidi, Whitney and Audrina. Glitzy, fabulous and completely unrealistic, this top-rated MTV reality series thrives on the conceit that pretty girls are jealous of each other when one of them has a boyfriend. But if that boyfriend is Spencer (Heidi's big-toothed Svengali-in-training), it's not necessarily jealousy the girls are feeling so much as revulsion. With her enhanced bosom on display, Heidi makes a weak attempt at independence this season, calling Spencer out for trying to control her. But watching the two--derisively known as Speidi--talk wanly, the vignettes come off as rehearsed as they've alluded to in interviews. Never mind that she flies off to Las Vegas to get some perspective. Are we really to believe that without receiving a call from her, Spencer figures out all by himself where she's staying in time to arrive for a heartfelt confrontation where both appear to have on their share of stage makeup? Reality isn't the drawing card of The Hills. It's watching a group of young, gorgeous twentysomethings living high on the hog in glamorous careers that appear to be incredibly lucrative. In reality, the core group work in fields where the paycheck could barely afford them to rent a small apartment together. Audrina is an intern at a record label, Lauren is an intern at a magazine, and Heidi is employed by a PR firm that apparently doesn't mind that she really doesn't seem to do all that much. And yet we're led to believe that these gals can live a Paris Hilton lifestyle, without Hilton's trust fund. But part of the guilty pleasure in watching The Hills is that mixed in with all the make-believe lifestyle is a lot of true confessions and drama. As pretty as she is, Lauren seems to have issues when her friends get boyfriends. Granted, she is usually right on the money about their lack of character. But she doesn't know when to stop interfering in her friends' lives and lectures and whines to the point where no one wants to hear about it anymore--not even her loyal viewers. The liberal use of "I love you" that is thrown around to friends they've just made also is telling. When the girls figure out that the phrase should be used sparingly and to people who've actually earned their love and trust, they may stand a shot at finding men who will truly return their affection. And those guys probably won't want their relationship filmed on subsequent seasons of the show. --Jae-Ha Kim
