DVD Review: Not so sunny in the hills...

As a huge Hills fan i have to tell you that this season is really the worst of them all. In short nothing really happens except fake crap!!! While The Hills went from capturing real drama of best friends boyfriends and breakups, to holidays and work stress, season 4 reduces to creating drama and beating the dead dog to even more death between the Lauren/Spencer/Heidi drama. Lauren still doesnt want to talk to Heidi, who still wants to talk to Lauren, while Spencer is still fighting with Heidi now over her sister coming to live with them and eventually kicks her out. The Hills has resorted to asking family members to create drama this season b/c honestley there are no more stories left to tell!!! This is why we see Stephanie vie for her nana's attention with Spencer, yet still begging spencer to ( no joke) "Just be nicer to me". Heidi's sister Holly also stirs up controversy when she wont leave her sisters apartment ( Hmmmm dont ask someone to move in if you dont want them to stay, Heidi), and b/c when Heidi actually kicks Holly out ( smooth move Heidi!) Holly actually starts living with Lauren aka pretend drama. The only two episodes that are worth watching on this dvd set are the ones which focus on the rumor that Lauren slept with Audrinas on again off again as*ole of a boyfriend Justin Bobby. The girls really go at it and Audrina once again proves that shes not really Lauren's friend ( as if her constantly hanging out with Heidi wasnt enough indication!) This just adds to the unfortunate fakenesss that this show has become. I still really love the Hills, but this is the only season where the drama pointless, while in season 3 it was juicy and fun, at this point its just sad. Skip season 4 and buy the fantastic seasons 2 and 3 instead!
