I bought this product very close to Christmas and wasn't sure it would arrive on time, but it came the day before Christmas and we were so pleased. The fire is perfect and the music was very nice. After a while we turned off the music and just enjoyed the fire. It was a very good purchase and really added a nice touch to our holidays.DVD Review: OK...

This was sorta cheesy. I ended up ordering another one that has a lava lamp and an aquarium and three fireplace scenes (it was for a NYE party), and it was better. Neither of the dvd's were all that great, but what do you expect for 7-8 bucks... I guess if you wanted xmas music this one might be better, but I didnt. (as you can tell by the enthusiasm of the review, i wasnt much impressed)

The Happy Holiday Hearth provides an instant, portable fireplace that's mess-free and burns brightly all evening. The mesmerizing flames are complemented by a choice of realistic crackling fire sounds, a holiday music track, or a combination of the two. The music track features traditional choral arrangements of classic Christmas songs like "White Christmas" and "Silver Bells" with full instrumental accompaniment. A similar DVD, Fireplace: Visions of Tranquility, differs by offering multiple perspectives on a fire from ignition to the last dying embers and featuring all-instrumental Christmas carols performed in a baroque style as well as non-holiday-specific classical music.
