DVD Review: Good introduction
Summary: 4 Stars
I believe this was a good introduction to sex for my 8 year old daughter. I purchased the boy version for my 10 year old son only to learn that they had covered most everything in school. Wanting to get ahead of the public schools, I immediately bought the girl version. My daughter and I watched together and she was very interested in the content. The animated illustration of intercourse is tastefully done and the narrative is broad enough to allow parents to discuss their views on the appropriate age for sex. Menstruation is not covered in detail as that is not the topic of the video. It is more of a general overview of the physical and emotional components of sex to illicit further discussion.
