DVD Review: Great show, and great packaging

Other than the fact that it is Steelbook there is nothing different about this version versus the normal one. The packaging on this one is way cooler though. Great show and I wish that it had at least gotten a third season to wrap things up a bit more. When I got this it was only $30, but it was a limited release. Cool to see that there are still a few available. Season 2 is coming out in Steelbook as well and I already have it pre-ordered.DVD Review: Excellent

This is an excellent product.
I for one love steel book editions, it just looks far better than the normal plastic covers. When it arrived it was in perfect condition, everything works, and the special features are amazing!
For those who are a fan of terminator, I would recommend this for you!
PLus there's a half naked babe on the front, which is a bonus!
So it gives a sexy-stylish look.

Love the series, can't wait for Season 2 (and 3 for that matter). Now that that is out of the way....how about a fundamentally helpful question?
What (other than the Steelbook packaging) is there CONTENT-wise (if anything) that makes this collection of Season 1 any different than the one I already have? I would like to know. Episodes, check. Extended episodes, check. Gag Reel, check. Featurettes, check. Widescreen, check. What MORE is in this? Someone with their hands on it please chime in, since the marketers failed to be forthcoming on the product page here.
DVD Review: The Sarah Connor Chronicles: Waiting for Season 2

My wife and I really enjoyed the first season. It contained appealing and interesting characters. We both loved the little female robot and were wondering what kind of relationship would develop between her and the Connor boy. Like Blade Runner, the story raised lots of questions about AI and what makes humans human and whether or not robots can become human like, perhaps better and worse in some ways. Overall the casting seems just right. At first it is hard to warm up to Sarah Connor because the original Sarah Connor was so terrific. However, you do, or at least I did. We enjoyed the show because it provided an interesting story with appealing characters. There is also action and suspense, but it's not overloaded with characters and violence, as with say Battlestar Galactica. I just could not get into that show, perhaps because there is just too much of everything, and we enjoy smaller suspenseful dramas. We like the Sarah Connor Chronicles because it is easy watching. And we are very interested in finding out what happens to John's robotic guardian angel. You know what I mean if you saw the last episode of the first season. We'll just have to wait because we either rent or buy through Amazon.com all the T.V. programs we watch, so we don't have to put up with commercials and can watch them when we want. Just now I was disappointed that I couldn't order season 2 of the Sarah Connor Chronicles, but pleased to get on the waiting list. We are also waiting to receive Boston Legal: Season 5, Desperate Housewives: The Complete Fifth Season, and The Shield: Season 7, our 3 favorite shows (pretty much in that order). We'll just have to go back to reading until they arrive.
