DVD Review: Wow!
Summary: 5 Stars

This DVD has only been in my possession for a few weeks and I have already watched it at least a dozen (or two) times. Watching Lee Rocker slap that bass will forever make me swoon.
If you are a fan, this is the next best thing to seeing them in person. Sound and video quality is superb. Been a fan since the early 80's and I have only managed to see them live once. Thanks to this, I can see them whenever I want now.

besides the extras on this dvd, there is also a 'secret video' under 'Sexy and 17'
you have to click on the Song List, scroll down until you get to Sexy and 17, and then left click on your remote until the brick turns blue and it should be there!
It's a extra perforomance of Brian in it with just him and his guitar, wow so cool
the whole dvd is so great, thank you Cats! :)

DVD Review: These Cats are Better Than Ever!

Great songs, strong musicianship, high energy, enthusiastic crowd, impressive venue all make this a thoroughly enjoyable show!! This is the Stray Cats' tiumphal return to where they truly got their start in 1980: London. Since then they've parted ways, reunited, done solo projects and simply put, gotten even better with age and experience. These guys are true pros and absolutely love what they do and it's obvious they are having the time of their lives. You will too, watching this DVD. Highly recommend!

DVD Review: If you like the Stray Cats

For all that like the Stray Cats this is a "MUST HAVE." Quite a show they put on in this concert. Can't tell you how many times I've watched and listened to it.

Have 6.1 surround system in entertainment room and a 5.1 system in our patio room, and the sound is tremendous on both systems.

Amazon,as usual, was a "breeze" with this order. Shipped right away and arrived earlier than I expected. I've been shopping Amazon for years, and have had only 1 minor problem, which the solved to my satisfaction, in very short order.

DVD Review: Those Cool Cats still rock the house!!

I got my DVD on New Year's Day and have watched it 7 times already in just the first 4 days. Man, this is a wonderful concert and a real treat for any age. I have shown this to my parents (age- mid 60's) and my nephews (ages 10 and 13) and they all love it as much as I do.
Rumble in Brixton is set in a small to medium sized venue with a sold out audience of about four to five thousand very enthusiastic fans. Hearing the crowd and watching them groove to each slap of the bass really made me feel like I was there. Brian Setzer is a guitar player like no other, truly amazing. The way Lee Rocker man-handles that doghouse bass all over the stage you'd think it only weighs 5 lbs. And Slim Jim Phanthom's excitment and enthusiasuim at the drums is infectious.
I'm 36 and remember when the Cats came out but like most others at the time I didn't relate to their sound. I mean I loved their hits (Stray Cat Strut, (She's) Sexy and 17, and Rock This Town) but knew very little of the main body of their work, or of the Rockibilly genre. But now, after watching this concert, I can't get enough. I'm kicking myself for missing out on 25 years of this!!

In short, If you like concerts on DVD, buy it you'll love it.
