I watched this series with two of my mates and we were simply blown away by the sheer importance of this film. It should be required viewing for all kids in schools everywhere. No, in fact, it should be required viewing for all of humanity! David Attenborough beautifully presents challenging truths about the condition of our planet and astutely describes (with beautiful visual detail) how "OUR" planet's condition has come to the state that it is in today. But this series is not all gloom and doom. In fact, there's definite hope and faith that "WE" as the planet's most powerful and influential inhabitants will persevere and create positive and necessary changes that will allow our planet heal from its serious wounds. If you're thinking of buying this DVD ...think no further, just do it! Then hold a movie night and invite all your friends. You'll be glad you did.
