Rita Rudner is one of the funniest Comediennes I've come across. She has great laugh out loud material that's clean but She re-uses a lot of material like Bruce Bruce, whose also constantly repeats material on film.
The Majority of the material she uses are jokes mainly Re-hashed from her 90's HBO specials HBO One Night StandAnd Born to Be Mild.
In a way these are both Pros and Cons
PRO - Her classic material from these specials is finally onto DVD
CON - We've heard it all before
Overall, While I'm a tad annoyed with the re-used material, given the fact it's Rita's First dvd, I can't exactly blame her for re-using it. Either way, A Must have for Rita Rudner fans

We stumbled onto this little gem at the library.. I enjoyed it so much I ended up getting copies for all my favorite lady friends!
Rita Rudner has a playful quality that comes with some of the funniest material around.
I also appreciate that she doesn't use any foulmouth language.

DVD Review: Leave 'em laughing!

I took my mom to see the show in Vegas and we loved it. Afterwards she said that she had missed many of the punch lines because she is hard of hearing. I got her the dvd for Mother's Day and she was thrilled. We both enjoyed watching it. It will be fun to show friends the dvd when they come to visit instead of saying that we saw a comedian and she was very funny. We can just put in the dvd and let them see how funny she is. Great buy!
