This is a great introduction to the djembe. Clear, step-by-step instruction. It is a good basic beginning instruction guide to have for anyone interested in learning the djembe. This DVD is great for all levels of djembe players! I've taken lessons and still had plenty to learn from this. The full songs even allow you to practice solo-ing. But I really think it is great for beginner to intermediate players. I played this for a few friends who'd never played and they still had some beats down after the first viewing. The choice of viewing angles really helps develop your technique too. Definitely a great purchase.
