My 5 year old says this movie is "Spooky fun" but too scary for his little brother. It was a cute movie, great for Halloween!

My two year old loves this movie. He loved it the first time he saw it. I will say that we misplaced it and so we did not see it for a while (3wks) and after we found it he was initially a little jumpy about the intro. However, once he was over that he was laughing and enjoying the fun. This is his all time favorite movie and will watch it repeatedly. This movie will make his tears stop when no other cartoon can. I love this movie as well, it is a great combination of halloween, the meaning of promises and friendship.

Overall, I think kids will enjoy this movie. In my own opinion, the piglet segment went on for far too long and really got off the track of what the movie was supposed to be about -- which was Roo and Lumpy's quest to save Halloween. Also, I didn't like the fact that Pooh selfishly binged on everyone's candy, leaving none for anyone else and really didn't seem all that sorry about it. I bought this movie based on the fact that it was a Pooh movie, but in retrospect, I don't think I would purchase it again. My advice -- rent it first. If you like it, buy it. At the very least, it's worth a rent.

Our 3-year-old daughter loves the Heffalumps, and this is her favorite Heffalump movie. It is just scary enough to excite her while she watches it, but not enough that it gives her nightmares.

Description of Pooh's Heffalump Halloween Movie

It's a hilariously haunting Halloween in the Hundred Acre Wood. Roo's best new pal, Lumpy, is excited to trick-or-treat for the first time ... until Tigger warns them about the dreaded Gobloon, who'll turn you into a Jaggedy Lantern if he catches you. But if they catch the Gobloon before it catches them, they get to make a wish! With Roo by his side, Lumpy knows he can face anything. So when Pooh eats all the Halloween candy, Lumpy and Roo decide to be "brave together, brave forever" and catch the Gobloon so they can wish for more. When the two friends become separated, however, Roo decides to wish for something even more important. Filled with adventure, unconditional friendship, and lots of laughter, POOH'S HEFFALUMP HALLOWEEN MOVIE is a sweet treat for the whole family.

Halloween can be a frightening time of year for piglets and young Heffalumps, but the power of unconditional friendship should never be underestimated. When a fierce "Gobloon" and an absence of candy threaten to ruin Lumpy's first trick-or-treating experience, Roo and Lumpy set out to capture the Gobloon and save Halloween. As the scared pair journeys toward the tree of terror, the pair reflects on Piglet's mastery of his fear of Halloween and begins to realize that togetherness empowers them. Perhaps true friendship can triumph over an evil Gobloon--even if the Gobloon does have the power to turn its pursuers into "jaggedy lanterns." But, what will happen when Roo and Lumpy become separated?
