My 2 1/2 year old daughter LOVES Maisy. The colorful animation, simple storytelling, sweet characters and plots are specifically geared toward toddlers. This DVD has four episodes: Play With Maisy, Maisy Makes Music, Maisy's Friends and Maisy's Birthday - each episode having 4 - 5 vignettes and 4 - 5 songs. She loves them all, especially "Fair," "Pool," "Train," "Party" and "Playhouse." Unfortunately there was no program guide inside, so in order for my daughter to watch a specific vignette I had to skip through them all to find it! Until I sat down one night and wrote down all 40 choices in numerical order so I can find them more quickly! Even with the lack of a guide I would have given it 5 stars, but on this DVD it is IMPOSSIBLE to bypass the three minutes worth of commercials that come first! Three minutes to a toddler is an eternity to have to wait, and she was near tears today and kept asking "Maisy!?" as the commercials droned on. (one of them is a Maisy commercial, to add to the torture!)Get Maisy on VHS so you can easily bypass this drek. (Now I put the DVD in with the TV off, wait three minutes and THEN turn the TV on to avoid toddler meltdown!)
