This is an excellent collection in one package. I grew up with Looney Tunes and my children have never seen it. Listening to my children laugh so hard and talk about it afterward is a major reward for me. Yeah, I watched it too. This is my first golden collection. I purchased this a few weeks back, wanting to share the laughs of my youth with my kids. We sat and watched all of the first dvd on the first day we recieved it, and each dvd every day afterwards until we'd watched all four.
I feel like it's a pretty good mixture of the looney tunes and merry melodies cartoons. It is missing one of my personal favorites, that's Transylvania 6-5000. And I was hoping it'd have a cartoon with the abominable snowman in it...'I will love you, and hug you, and squeeze you, and call you George'. :)
The quality of the dvd is great, you can see every little piece of dust they accidentally captured between the screens! I enjoy the artistic value of these cartoons, and really enjoyed the bonuses.
Overall, I really love this collection, and am planning on expanding on my looney tunes/merry melodies library until I have them all!
