This is an excellent source of historical information (although not up to date), well edited and produced but not the whole story, not by a long shot even. The magic of Anfield's moments of glory comes from many many moments strung together by the golden thread of destiny, these moments were not covered in their entirity. So for this to be a definitive history of the phenomenon that is Liverpool F.C., more work is needed on this aspect; more footage and more analysis of the conditions surrounding and unfolding within pivotal matches in each season. An update that includes the unique achievement of a 5th UEFA champions cup (maybe a 6th this year), and more focus on the central figures of that amazing 70's team as well as current stars.DVD Review: Great History of the Greatest Soccer Club in the World

The title says it all. This is a must for fans of soccer. Liverpool, the most successful club in English football, and one of the most successful in le monde. Gives a thorough background; goes through all the periods and all the `Pool legends.
The one thing missing, and it should come out is a new release is the great Champions League win over AC Milan in 2005.
Description of Liverpool FC Official History
1892-2002In 1892 Liverpool Football Club was born. By 1901 Liverpool FC had won the first of their 18 League championships (to date), which is still an English record today. Liverpool were reborn under Bill Shankly and the legendary boot room team. Shankly and Bob Paisley went on to serve the fans by winning the club, 6 Championships, 2 UEFA Cups, 2 European Cups and 1 European Super Cup, by the end of the 1970?s. The 80?s kicked off where Liverpool had finished the 70?s dominating at home and in Europe. After Paisley, Fagan continued the success story, assisted by possibly the club?s greatest servant Ronnie Moran The new millennium brought glory back to Anfield under the shrewd guidance of Gerard Houllier and assistant Phil Thompson. Now with the new Liverpool FC heroes, including Michael Owen, Steven Gerard and Sami Hyypia, the future looks bright with the club set to regain their place amonst the true elite of football clubs.
