DVD Review: Not sure I love this one.

I have lots of Ana and Ravi's dvds and I love most of them. My all-time favorite Kundalini tape is Maya Feines' and I wish she had more than one! This dvd is surprisingly MUCH LESS meditative than my others. BUT it is a challenging workout and really works up a sweat. ONe exercise I had to skip because of a weak knee. I might do this one once a week just for the sweat value, but honestly, it's not my favorite at all and it seemed rather SHORT! Also, there is a long intro to wait through that you can't fast forward through. I don't appreciate that at all. I like to rotate DVDs for variety. Now that I have this one of Gurmukh, I will not get another by her but will look for something else.DVD Review: good

This yoga dvd is one of my favorites. It's a full hour and it works muscles that my Power Yoga dvd does not. Gurmukh is energetic but not annoying, and she encourages you through the hard parts. When I finish I always feel renewed and energized. This dvd is effective for both beginners and intermediate level practitioners.DVD Review: Lovely and Elegant but Tough!

I was a little reluctant to buy another Gaiam yoga DVD because the last one I purchased had nothing but ads for other DVD's at the beginning, which are quite annoying. This DVD is very to-the-point. I like Gurmukh's manner. She is very calm and reassuring and one can tell she has practiced this yoga for a very long time (not from her appearance, which is very youthful, but from her poise.) After having used the Ravi and Ana DVD's I thought this one would be similar. It is different in many ways. For one thing, she used more aerobic moves which do make a person sweat. Some of the poses are quite demanding, as she holds them longer. I find it to be very different in a good way than Ravi and Ana's. It is not as "instructional" in that she does not demonstrate the two types of breathing, but she does explain many of the moves. She is so obviously a sage, one must respect her and experience a "class" taught by her. I wish I could attend a live class-- it would be an honor!! My only reservation is that it is a little shy of an hour, and I would have liked it to go on at least an hour. DVD Review: Gift/Healing

I do Kundalini yoga at Gurmukh's studio. I love it! I bought this video for my mom to give her something I am lucky to have everyday. I love it, she loves it! She has even done it with my 7 year old niece... She told me after doing it just one time. If feel different better. I don't know if it is in my head but it feels good! No, it wasn't in her head...
