This is a great Yoga dvd. The first time i did this dvd was in my yoga class at my college. I thought it was great. It had a little bit of everything in it. It has a great warm up to get you going, and then it has great exercises to get your whole body going. After a very good work out you then go into meditation to help you relax. Overall it is a great dvd, the only thing i would say is that if your a beginner at yoga do not go as fast as what they are in the dvd, i kid you not you will be so sore the next day. I became interested in yoga while in college, and have been doing various forms off and on since, mixed with cardio. weights, etc. This video is by far the best yoga DVD your money can buy. Kundalini affects you almost imediately if you put your heart and mind into it. There are no downward dogs or standard poses of hatha or vinyasa-so I think some people get disappointed or misunderstand the point of this. This one works the mind almost as much, if not more than the body, and as a take-away that means more to me than anything.
Once you shut the DVD off and walk out into the real world, it acts as a sort of protection or barrier from yourself and life(e.g willpower, moods, emotion) and will make you less angry at the driver that cut you off, the rude people in a city like Chicago, or other negative occurances day-to day etc. etc.... Also-Gurmukh is up there in age and looks fantastic-and I do not think it is botox or surgery-buy this instead and save a few thousand dollars!!!

I must say, this is an awesome DVD. Not only is Gurmukh one of the most inspiring Yoga teachers ever, but she is fun, her voice is soothing, and here in this DVD she offers a whole body make over with this wonderful kundalini set. I highly recommend for all levels.

Some other people have written that this DVD is dangerous, made them dizzy, extremely strenous, etc. I was concerned, so I rented it from Netflix before thinking of buying it from Amazon.
I'm VERY overweight, by about 60 lbs, pretty out of shape, and HATE exercising...AND I LOVE THIS DVD!!! I'm not a brand new to yoga. I go to mommy & me kundalini yoga once a week. I went 3-4 times a week when I was pregnant. I have to say that after doing this dvd I felt energized, peaceful and living in the light of who I am. I did it yesterday and still feel wonderful today. I'm not sore, I didn't feel dizzy or anything. I did sweat, and wanted to give up at points, but she soothed me through it.
I honestly liked it more than my regular yoga instructor for my mommy & me classes. She really knows what she's doing and it shows. It's very important to go through the whole dvd from start to finish, otherwise I could imagine that a person could be very sore without the series of stretches that counterbalance the muscle use.
