DVD Review: excellent documentary
Summary: 5 Stars
this is a very good documentary narrated by wendy williams about hip hop groupies, video girls, the casting couch and mostly, about the infamous karrine "superhead" steffans, author of "confessions of a video vixen" and "the vixen diaries". there are interviews with ja rule, ma barker, mr. marcus, suavexxx, norwood young, don "magic" juan, darius mccrary(karrines ex) and different music video directors that knew karrine. every single person that's interviewed agrees that karrine is conniving, manipulative and a liar. there are allegations of her being a bad parent and having a mental illness.some of the allegations against karrine blew me away! if your not familiar with the story of karrine steffans, this documentary starts from the beginning and fills you in on everything and you hear from people that were actually there and that introduced karrine to different celebrities. if you have read any of karrine steffans books or are into hip hop and what goes on with the girls behind the scenes, i definently reccomend this dvd!
