A fantastic series with a unique take on the entire vampire mythos. Loosely based on teh World of Darkness role playing game, it was very entertaining with great acting and wonderful stories. Unfortuneatly it was cut short by the tragic death of the lead actor, Mark Frankel. Anyone that enjoys unique drama in an unusual setting should take a look at this series.DVD Review: Great seller!

I really enjoyed this DVD series. I really have a hard time with the TV stations that cancel a fantasic show. This is worth buying .. however if you need close caption this is not the series for you. If you just want to enhance your Vampire DVD's this is great. Julian Luna is the most handsome character that I have seen in any Vampire show. He's haunting.DVD Review: Oh, What could have been !

This series had alot of promise, but the real life death of the main character doomed the series. Like many a promising series, it was strangled at birth by a lack of advertising and a bad time slot. The acting is fair to very good(all actors are not created equal;]). I especially enjoyed seeing veteran actor Patrick Bauchau. I personally enjoyed the entire series. The only bad thing about this collection is the utter lack of extra's. The only thing you get is the 8 episodes. But,on the whole I think that wether you played the roleplaying game or not, you should enjoy this for what it was, a potential blockbuster of a series.
