Coach Wooden is the essence of a man who places values ahead of winning. Strange, he had a lot of winners didn't he?. Coach is from Indiana and so am I, I still kind of resent him beating my Dayton Flyers in the final game of the NCAA even if it was almost 40 years ago!DVD Review: Outstanding!

Coach Wooden is an amazing man. In this one hour video, he generously shares his wisdom, personal philosophy, and principles for living a happy and successful life. And he has a unique ability to connect in a way that is interesting, friendly, motivating, and non-judgmental. After watching and listening to him, I now understand why he became one of the most successful coaches in sports history.
If you want to become a better person, this video of John Wooden has a lot to offer you. I highly recommend it.

Description of John Wooden - Values, Victory and Peace of Mind
Legendary basketball coach John Wooden, who was revered as the "Wizard of Westwood" while guiding UCLA to 10 national championships (including an astounding seven in a row), presents his philosophy for success in life in this intelligently produced video that transcends the world of basketball. After a notable career as a college player at Purdue, Wooden graduated in 1932 and became an English teacher. And his love of literature and his thoughtful nature are very much on display as Wooden, at the age of 90, sits before an intimate audience and presents his "Pyramid of Success." In Wooden's system, attributes such as friendship, initiative, poise, and confidence all build upon each other to create the pinnacle of "great competitive success." Wooden, speaking in a gentle and articulate manner, offers anecdotes from his decades of coaching, and punctuates his lessons with dramatic vintage game clips showing some of the great players he coached.
