DVD Review: One of the best routines ever !
Summary: 5 Stars

It is not often that I laugh so hard I have to pause the DVD so I can breathe! This guy is very funny! Even though this was made years ago, the material still seems fresh, and had me rolling! It is mostly fat jokes, but I guess I have a soft spot for those (pun intended ;). I just wish it were a bit cleaner on the language so I could share with my 8 year old daughter, but alas, she will just have to wait for a few years, it will probably still be just as funny then!

I truly enjoyed this comedian!! We laughed hilariously through the whole dvd. It did have a few spots I was glad the little kids weren't listening, but overall it was just FUNNY!! I'm going to get another of his dvd's.

DVD Review: Choose the other...
Summary: 3 Stars

We ordered both "I Say Nay Nay" and "I'm Starvin'" after seeing "I'm Starvin'" on Comedy Central. Was disappointed in "I Say Nay Nay" b/c it is just an earlier/rougher version of "I'm Starvin'". Plus, it was not as family friendly. John does use the curse word s.o.b. in both, but he used it more, plus others, in "Nay,Nay". Also, in "Nay, Nay" he talked about masturbation while at a beach in France - now it was very veiled and my daughters didn't catch it, but that kind of humor is below John's talent.
My eleven year old just put the mail in front of me while typing this; "I'm Starvin'" arrived today! Heading to the tv now to watch! Now that DVD is worth your money. (Thanks, John, our family loves you.)

If you've ever seen John Pinette on Just for Laughs, this DVD is even better than that. I was laughing throughout this entire presentation. He talks about all kinds of things and makes them amusing with his way of reacting to them. He talks about food and restaurants (how he doesn't think salad is food and how one Italian restaurant fed him); he talks about where his friends like to take him (water park, skiing). I highly recommend this DVD.
