DVD Review: IT"-A Must Have

Are you a leader-pastor, elder, youth, small business? If you have answered "yes" to any of these then you must get the "IT" DVD series by Craig Groeschel. I like his approach. He doesn't stand in a pedestrian room with a fake backdrop while lecturing on "IT." He takes several different approaches-from teaching at a conference, to two personal interviews with some ministry friends, to talking while in his van-to name a few. My favorite is while teaching his son Bookie how to ride a bike, he teaches about not being afraid to fail. What I also like is that each lesson is not an hour long but maybe 10-15 minute snippets followed by a series of questions on the DVD for discussion by the group. This was invaluable to me as I watched and tried to figure out where I was, the church I pastor was, and ultimately, how I was going to get others involved in this process. My plan is to offer a leadership training session once a month using these DVD lessons as the "jumping off" point. To wrap up: you have a built-in leadership lesson for a group of any size by one of the finest leaders in the church today. Buy this today!
My only glitch that I am trying to correct is that in one of the sessions some audio went bad on one of the men who was participating. I am trying to find out if it was just mine or a common problem.
