DVD Review: Best TT coverage yet

The Isle of Man TT, or Tourist Trophy, is a series of races run on the worlds longest race track. The Mountain Course is 37.73 miles of public roads and includes everything from long flat out straights to first gear, slipping the clutch, hairpin bends and even small jumps.
I start each year's DVD by watching the on bike videos, this year was a real treat because it included clear telemetry and the flies didn't get the best of the camera. If you have never experienced a top class sports bike you won't believe the acceleration from 60-160, and you get to see it quite often.
The coverage of the races is quite comprehensive and includes all the significant moments strung together with the most amazing on and off bike shots.
When I want to show someone what a modern sports bike can do on the open road this is the DVD I reach for. The production race is for 1000cc bikes with no modifications, they just take the turn signals off, change the tires and slap on a number then take them racing at 200mph+.
(Watch out for the 2007 DVD, it is a two disk set and includes 4 on-bike videos, one from a sidecar outfit. It also shows the first 130mph+ lap. The production bikes, bikes you can buy and ride, lag just behind at 127mph.)
