DVD Review: I love Maiden so maybe this review is not entirely for any non Maiden fan out there.
Summary: 5 Stars
The concert in dics one looks the same as the original footage from VHS era but audio is remastered in dolby5.1 so you get the excitment in an new (compared the VHS) experience.
Disc 2 offers in one place some hard to find old footage making the chapter two of the Maiden story an enjoyable one.
For me, a Maiden fan for more than 20 years this is a must in my collection

Live Afer Death is essential viewing for any true Iron maiden fan, and for good reason. The first DVD is the main feature, the epic concert in Long Beach California. Everyone wishes they were there, onlyafew thousand were lucky enough to actually be there. It's a really great live recording that fans will really enjoy watching. The second DVD contains a bit of a documentry that I appreciated, although it was pretty sloppily put together and I wouldn't pay money for it as a stand alone product. It also has some bonus fooage from some live shows. Honestly, the only people that would really get any enjoyment out of this DVD set are fans of the band. Most other people would probably find it boring.DVD Review: Great only if your a big fan of iron maiden

If this video is just like the original but the volume level is at what today's standards are for surround sound, this video is awesome. I have the original 1985 VHS that was converted to DVD and it rocks. I also own the 2001 amazing concert called Rock in Rio but I think this video show's Maiden at it's peak.
