i was really excited about this video, but when i put it on i was extremely dissapointed. i come with a decent amount of pilates background and this focused nothing on technique and was so beginner i dont think i got any workout. the hips workout was a good burner though, but after doing this once i will probably never do this video again. she's way to peppy for me and i was looking for a much more serious pilates workout that would garner fast results.DVD Review: Still challenging after a year

I've had this video for at least a year and the segments still give me a work out. Sometimes after I do a certain set of exercises for a long period of time, I don't feel like they're challenging, but that's not the case here. Denise's reminders to tighten the abs, etc really help keep me focused so that the exercises do continue to be effective. I love having 10 minute segments. Sometimes I can fit in only one routine and at other times I can fit in more.DVD Review: VERY DISAPPOINTED

In Hit The Spot Pilates, the new Denise Austin Pilates DVD, consumers have the benefit of a customizable Pilates workout that targets specific areas such as hips, thighs, buttocks, abs and waistline -all with a Pilates twist! This DVD includes two segments -Abs and Waist Line and Lower Body: Hips, Thighs and Buttocks. The Abs and Waist Line consist of three 10-minute workouts, each more difficult than the other. All three segments concentrates on the techniques that will help you define your abs and waist while improving your posture. The Lower Body -Hips, Thighs and Buttocks includes one 10-minute hips workout, one 10-minute thighs workout and one 10-minute buttocks workout. These workouts will allow you to continue to strengthen your core muscles while slimming and trimming the bottom half.
