I grew up in a one parent home with no Father available.What Michael Landon means to me, and the shows he did? There is not enough space, but I will try. He was a father figure, who could laugh, wicked sense of humor,he could cry, in touch with his emotions, and he only did programming that had meaning, so sorely lacking since his death.I loved Little House on the Prairie, and I loved this show the most. I would love to get a copy of the last thing he did "Us",as it was as moving as anything he ever did.He fulfilled emotional needs in me my absentee biological Father never did, or could have done. I would love to own this entire series, as this man should never be forgotten and all the excellent work he did in his lifetime of 54 years.I grieved for him when I learned of his death, just like he was my real Dad. He taught me invaluable lessons through his programming.He never failed to move me, tears, laughter. His personal biography was similar to mine in many ways, two parents that never loved each other, and never should have married.He profoundly affected my life, and I thank him for the legacy he left behind. He will never be forgotten by me. Please release all seasons of this classic show.Let his legacy live through his work. May he Rest in Peace. May God Bless Him for the fine man he was, and all the wonderful things he did to help others, with his passion for sharing life's most important lessons.
I had to add one last thought, I forgot to mention Victor French, May He Rest in Peace. He was like a big huggable Teddy Bear, and the Grandfather I never knew. You could see the love between Michael and Victor, best buds. Both wonderful human beings.I grew up watching both of them as a young teen on LHOTP, and as a young adult with HTH.
