DVD Review: Not the greatest, but good! Summary: 5 StarsGets a little slow when addison moves to CA. Didn't really care much for what was going on there. But i'd still choose watching this season over than all those annoying reality shows on T.V!!
DVD Review: Shonda keeps giving us what we want! Summary: 5 StarsBy the time season three of Grey's Anatomy started, I was already hooked onto it because of the phenominal writing and acting, but the soapy drama has also kept me watching. Season one showed that soap operas can be sophisticated and mature due to its strong stories. Season two did the same but cranked up the drama to a slightly higher level. It has remained the same now throughout the seasons. Season three ranks among the best television I have ever seen. The recurring plot lines included the battle for position of Chief Resident among Callie, Burke, Derek, etc., Izzie's depression after Denny's death, Addison trying to regain a relationship with Mark and her secret affair with Alex, Alex's secret obsession with a female patient who goes by the name Jane Doe, a Izzie/George/Callie love triangle, Meredith's constant struggle with her family, Christina and Burke's constant fighting. George's father becomes at risk of death while being admitted for surgery, which also reintroduces the bitter Dr. Erica Hahn as a rival to Burke. Derek and Meredith also continue to have a bumpy on-off relationship, while Chief Webber is possibly leaving as Chief of Surgery. Season three set the bar high enough to give the writers and producers stress about future seasons. Hopefully they will provide what I'm hoping for, but I'll have to see.
DVD Review: Wonderful! Summary: 5 StarsThe Third season of Grey's is so complex in its twisted story goodness! I loved the first two seasons, and I loved this one as well. There are many new conflicts as well as ones continuing from the previous story line. You know its a good tv show when you like the characters so much that even when they start going down a path you don't approve of, you keep watching, and not only that, you start talking to the tv screen to try to make them change.(Talking to the screen doesn't actually work...just for the heads up!!)
If you enjoyed the first two seasons, you won't be disappointed with this one!!
DVD Review: Another Solid Season for Grey's- The Best Medical Drama Out There Summary: 5 StarsLet's face it, ER has died. Grey's is the best medical drama out there today. And while I was never a huge fan of medical drama, after catching a few early episodes, I was addicted. Season 2 was only better. FANTASTIC ending. Season 3 was another solid season under the belt for Grey's. I can't believe it's been 4 seasons already!
Yes, season 3 did have it's moments where you were annoyed at what a certain character was doing. And for me it also took some time for some of the newer characters like Callie and McSteamy to grow on me. But, they did due to the fact that all of these characters were given another season of great material and storylines. It wasn't as exciting or Emmy worthy as Season 2, but it was still a great season.
If you haven't caught Grey's yet- it's really something you need to do. You may be the last person on earth who hasn't seen the show yet!

Seriously.System Requirements:Running Time: 1105 Mins.Format: DVD MOVIE Genre:?TELEVISION/SERIES & SEQUELS Rating:?TV-14 UPC:?786936731446 Manufacturer No:?05405500 In the third season of Grey's Anatomy, one medical intern will get married to a superior while another is left standing at the altar. Two interns will lose their parents. And one main character will try to commit suicide--or not fight very hard to save her own life. There will be multiple hook-ups, infidelity, and trust issues. In between the soap opera-style drama that attracts millions of viewers each week, interns Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh), Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl), Alex Karev (Justin Chambers), and George O'Malley (T.R. Knight) will also perform some medical miracles. At the end of season 2, Izzie was distraught over the death of her fianc?, Denny. Now she finds that her very rich boyfriend has left her millions of dollars. Instead of putting the money into the bank and allowing it to accrue interest until she decides what she wants to do with it--as sensible Dr. Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) suggests--Izzie mopes around the house in an irritating stupor. Actually, irritating is an apt description for several of the main characters. It takes a leap of faith to believe that sexy, spectacular, and rich orthopedic surgeon Callie Torres (Sara Ramirez) would be even vaguely interested in wishy-washy George. Previously, he'd convinced himself that he was in love with Meredith. Now he's pining for his other roommate, Izzie, even though he's already got Callie. And rather than welcoming her into their fold, Izzie and Meredith (and to a lesser extent Cristina) give Callie the mean-girls treatment. They may have rebuffed him at one point, but they don't want Callie to have him, either. There is something very needy about this group of interns who have no one to turn to but each other when a crisis occurs. Viewers get some insight into "dark and twisty" Meredith's upbringing, as she spends more time with her cold and demanding mother, who is suffering from Alzheimer's, and her milquetoast father, who didn't fight very hard to have contact with her as a child after her mom kicked him out of their house. It's no wonder Meredith ended up emotionally damaged and unwilling to completely open up to Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) ... a.k.a. McDreamy. Though the show's title implies that Meredith is the most important character, it's not true. The ensemble cast, which also includes James Pickens Jr. as Dr. Richard Webber (who had a long and complicated affair with Meredith's mother) and Kate Walsh as Derek's ex-wife Addison, is fantastic. And it's difficult to outshine Oh, who has some of this season's funniest and emotional moments as she navigates a relationship with Preston Burke (Isaiah Washington), who is far more romantic and traditional than she is. Though not as compelling as the show's debut season, this third year still packs a strong emotional punch. --Jae-Ha Kim
