As a fan of the show The Girls Next Door,I was intrigued when I found out they had a workout dvd coming out,as I have collected and used workout dvds and Vhs tapes for years.For those who dont know who The Girls Next door are (what do you live in a bubble?) They are the 3 three quirky blondes known as Holly Madison,Bridget Marquardt,and Kendra Wilkinson,who were at one time all girlfriends to the legendary Hugh Hefner.
My opinion is that the short segments on this dvd will most likely not help if you need to lose alot of weight.So if that is your goal in getting this workout,you may want to look for something more intense which has cardio.
Having said that,it is great as a toning,firming,and stretching tool for those who are in shape already and maybe just want a little definition.I like to use it in conjunction with my current workout routine which includes and hour of cardio with strength training 3-5 days a week.
The scenery of the dvd,is of course at the infamous Playboy mansion.Many of it in front of the pool which looks very inviting as you are working out!
Each girl has her own 15 minute segment featuring something different.Holly's focuses on arms and stretching,Kendra's on dance moves,jump rope and martial arts movements,and my favorite Bridget~who does a condensed bootcamp (which has really added that extra something to my workout!).
The workouts are fun and uncomplicated,so if you are looking to add something to your current workout,looking to start out a new routine or just want to watch these ladies~you'll enjoy this dvd!
DVD Review: Big Fan!

I got this DVD because I am a huge fan of the GND. I was also curious as to what diet and exercise tips they could provide, since they are all so beautiful. After the DVD arrived, I popped it in right away and did Holly's routine and about half of Bridget's. I really worked up a sweat! I am not new to exercising...I do yoga three times a week and try to run or walk when I can. I think this video is perfect to add to a regular workout schedule. I would definitely alternate between the three while continuing to do my yoga and some other cardio.
I read the other reviews and poor Kendra really got a bad rap. I understand the complaints about her dancing...she does not explain how to do what she's doing or anything to allow the viewer to really participate. I don't think it's bad, though, and think it can be used as a fun way to warm up. Anyone can dance, and it doesn't have to be the way Kendra is doing it. Have fun with it!
There are really only a few things on the video that I didn't like: Holly and Bridget have a lot of the same moves, so if you're doing the segments back to back it can be repetitive. I also felt like the entire time during Kendra's workout that I was going to see her crotch. Short shorts and kickboxing do not mix! :)
Other than that, I think it's a good workout DVD and the girls did a good job!

I think it's great to be able to endorse a product, but you should also be a user of the thing as well. Bridget Marquardt is obviously not doing her workout or any of the workouts on this tape on a regular basis.

So I have been doing the work out vido about a week and omg Im feeling it. Im used to doing little or no excersie and this is an awsome work out Bridgets is the most intense followed by Hollys then Kendras. Kadenas was one bid dissapoinment at the beggining she starts dancing doesnt explain whats shes doing which was one big waste and just overalls hers did nothing for me I got more entertainment from the birds in the background. Overall I give it 5 stars I recom.
