DVD Review: LOVE LOVE LOVE this dvd!

I was amazed by how enthused my 10 month old is with this particular DVD. We have other elmo/sesame street, but this one in particular caught my daughters attention. Maybe because we have 2 dogs? But the babies section is adorable as well!One of the best buys for her entertainment! we LOVE LOVE LOVE this DVD! My 18 month old granddaughter has limited screen time and is not overly interested in TV but she loved this video! It is clever and fun to watch. We received this as a gift from some friends with a slightly older toddler. My son was not allowed to watch TV or DVDs until he was about 2.5 years old, and this was one of the first he really watched and enjoyed. He is the youngest and he loves the "babies" segment, in which toddlers and young children play with babies. My son learned how to interact with babies, and grew very interested in them, from watching this DVD.
I think the DVD is very well-done and exciting for small children. We have seen it repeatedly, and each time, I really appreciate the fun imagery, the music, and especially the choice of subjects that hold such great interest for small children.

Description of Elmo's World - Babies, Dogs & More
Sesame Street's cheerful redhead chuckles his way through this delightful 50-minute compilation of three favorite "Elmo's World" episodes. First come the babies: real babies, Muppet babies, and animal babies. With help from Mister Noodle, a cast of Muppets, and video vignettes featuring humans, Elmo discovers what babies can do and how to play with them. Next come the dogs. Once again, Elmo's on the move--this time to share important tips about respecting the family pet. The final episode examines life on the farm. Viewers will observe youngsters accomplishing daily farm chores as well as Muppet farmers and barn animals punning around. As Elmo bops around his house (simply drawn and "furnished" with color crayon sketches), he chats with Dorothy the pet goldfish, poses questions to Mister Noodle, and tunes in to his friendly television for helpful cartoons presented by "The Baby Channel," "The Dog Channel," and of course, "The Farm Channel." Educational and entertaining for the younger crowd, each segment explores its topic using a variety of creative, quick-paced methods, enhanced by an upbeat soundtrack.
