DVD Review: NOTHING MORE THAN A REPACKAGE!

This is basically the same as the first ELO "Live at Wembley" DVD release minus the bonus "Discovery" concert footage that was previously included. This concert DVD still suffers from the same poor editing and special effects as the first "Live at Wembley" release.
The sound presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS is really decent, but in my opinion could have been a lot better. Thanks to careful audio restoration this new DVD release finally proves that the band did play and sing their way through every song and they weren't frauds.
The DVD packaging for the disc is the cheapest effort I've ever seen from a major studio. The DVD is supposed to sit on a little round piece of foam inside the cardboard sleeve to keep it in place and secure. It's a terrible idea, extremely cheap and it doesn't work very well.
As a bonus this version includes a miniature 28 page reproduction booklet of the original tour programme and I thought it was nicely done. They're isn't anything new for Electric Light Orchestra fans with this release, Jeff Lynne fans should look for the "Zoom" concert DVD release for superior picture and sound quality.
