DVD Review: Very easy and doesn't hurt
Summary: 5 Stars
I've bought several exercise videos advertised for seniors that were either too strenuous for me, or had movements that hurt my knees, hips, or shoulders. But I can do this one! As with all of these programs, it's easy to pace yourself, working harder or less so, as your abilities permit. All movements seem safe and are very easy to do, nothing tricky. Instructor seems knowledgeable and has a pleasant personality. I originally borrowed this DVD from my brother, then bought my own. Three other DVDs available on Amazon that I like are "Exercise: A Video from the National Institute on Aging" (all standing or seated, explains what muscles are worked in each strengthening exercise); "Safe and Fit Total Body Workout" by Cindy Kozacek (great for aerobics, strength, balance, flexibility); "Fresh Start Collection" with Dian Ramirez (various routines include aerobics, strenghtening, floor exercises; lively music).
