this was the first of our little einstein dvd sets. these movies are nothing like the baby einstein movies at all and should NOT be compared. my daughter never watched baby einstein more than once so i was reluctant to even try little einsteins. (i think i started her w/them too late)
however, much to my surprise my 15/16 month old daughter watched this full-length feature in its entirety the first day we got it! she asked to watch it every day, for almost a year now has been watching all the episodes daily. let me share that for more than 10 years i have been completely against children/teens wasting time watching TV (making exceptions with public television). in 1.5 years of my daughter's life, we traveled overseas 3x and moved 3x as well so these little einstein's have BEEN a HUGE relief.
we never got sick of this first DVD. the music, scenery and conversations are so precious and i totally thank little einstein's for my now 2 year old singing beethoven and stravinsky in perfect tone, with right hand out just like annie when she sings!
please don't interpret this as bragging--but how many 2 year olds announce that they will "conduct" a song with a spoon or point out a butterfly in a book that "used to be acaterpillar" among many, many other impressive concepts i haven't seen children project until at least 4-5 years of age, and i have been teaching for almost 20 years!

This was one of the videos we took along this month when we traveled around Europe with our toddler. After he got tired of watching the same repeating Disney shows on the plane we had this to fall back on and it kept him occupied for an hour until he was finally ready to fall asleep. He loves Little Einsteins and we feel good about him watching it since it exposes him to classical music, art and problem solving.DVD Review: would reccomend
