DVD Review: This DVD is really nice with my upconverting DVD player & LCD TV

Great DVD ! I am not sure about how come certain people didnt like this DVD, but for me I have a upconverting DVD player called the XDE by Toshiba, which plays regular DVDs very close to High def, so that is a big reason why this aquarium DVD plays so clear like it actually there. And i have a 37 inch LCD TV. I think if the people who reviewed this DVD haD the equipment I have they would have thought differently. Nice product.DVD Review: AQUARIUM DVD

I LOVE THIS DVD. IT HAS AN AWESOME PICTURE AND SOUND. I AM VERY IMPRESSED. IT COMES WITH MUSIC OR NATURAL SOUNDS OF THE AQUARIUM. PUT IT ON THE NATURAL SOUNDS AND I FEEL LIKE I LIVE IN THE AQUARIUM WITH THE FISH. IT'S A GREAT BUY

After purchasing four different aquarium DVDs over the past two years, this one is by far the BEST! After reading some of the other reviews, I was a little hesitant to spend the money....I'm so glad that I did. One of the reviews said that it didn't look like it was shot in HD. Mine is unbelievably clear, beautiful and very much HD. Another review stated that the colors were bordering on too bright, but after my trip to Cozumel, I now realize that fish are SUPPOSED to be bright. Especially tropical ones. My last concern based on another's review was that the music was going to be outdated and annoying....NOT the case! The music tracks are labelled ambient 1 and 2, and lounge. The lounge music was just what you'd expect from a track labelled "lounge", but it cracked everyone up as we were watching the fish "dance" to music I would definitely consider outdated....however....we had so much fun! It was quite entertaining. And as far as the ambient music goes...not outdated, but if you're not into meditation/new-agey relaxation music, then the ambient music tracks will not be for you. Ambient 1 is more synthesized and Ambient 2 is instrumental. I love them. This was the best purchase ever...I'm ditching the other DVDs. Pass on this one. Not that the image quality is bad, or the arrangements are unpleasant. The color temperature is just set too high. That means the reds are too red. The blues are too blue. Not that bad that I'd return it, but not good enough that I'd recommend it to others.DVD Review: Not Bueno

I thought I was getting a high def aquarium to play as occasional background on my awesome new high def tv. Not true. Very fuzzy, muddy images. A real disappointment.
