DVD Reviews of Crossfire TrailDVD Review: GREAT story and personal character ..... Summary: 5 Stars This is probably Tom's best work . For most , the story is slow , HOWEVER , is perfect as is . GREAT family and personal "MAN VALUES" . Scenery like John wayne movies and similar to "Chisum" , my favorite Wayne movie . FAR BEYOND Tom's "Quigley , down under" work , excellent in cowboy tradition .
Rooting for the good guy is obviously built in story . Family can watch and all enjoy . Joanna Miles is a vision and leaves one thinking age doesn't change beauty ; maybe that's because her 'take-action' character is sexy to most men .
Panoramic views add to the NEED for slower story development . LOTS of "shoot 'em up" at the end . UNLIKE most movies , Rafe Covington is main character , however , story line is written so NO ONE could be left out and seems as though each has a prominent scene at some point .
enjoie , pops howard , apalachin , new yuck
DVD Review: Crossfire Trail Summary: 1 StarsWhen I originally received this product it was damaged and after 3 emails I finally heard back from the seller with a return address. I returned it on Apr. 9th and as yet I have heard nothing from the seller who was supposed to send me a new DVD.
DVD Review: AWESOME SHOW! Summary: 5 StarsOne of the greatest westerns I've seen! Perfect mix of acting, story and shooting without the bad language and trash that most movies these days have! Loved this Show! Way to go Tom Selleck!
DVD Review: Crossfire Trail Summary: 4 StarsFilm starts with Selleck, in the 1880s, on a ship after being shanghaied. One of his shanghaid shipmates dies after being beaten by the captain but before passing on gets Selleck to promise to check in on his wife. When he gets to her he finds there is a lot of nefarious stuff going on so he proceedes to take care of the vile wrong doers. He does it well. I'm a big fan of Tom Selleck and he did not dissapoint me in this one. This movie was made from another of Louis Lamours books.
DVD Review: Great Movie Summary: 5 StarsThis movie was described well and arrived in plenty of time for my boyfriend's birthday. We both greatly enjoyed watching it. Great action type western.
Description of Crossfire TrailA restless wanderer makes a promise to a dying friend to help the man's widow and daughter hold onto their ranch in the lush but lawless Wyoming Territory. But when oil is discovered on the land, the unsuspecting hero must contend not only with the two women who are suspicious of his motives, but also with ruthless men plotting to seize the ranch. Based on the novel by Louis L'Amour. There are unmistakable pleasures to an old-fashioned Western, and Crossfire Trail has 'em. Tom Selleck has a lean, weathered face that sits nicely atop a horse and beneath a broad-brimmed hat; he plays a canny cowboy who's come to make good on a promise to a dying man and ends up caught between a beautiful woman (Virginia Madsen) and a wicked man in black--a couple of them, actually. Crossfire Trail has just about every element you could ask for (a Sioux war party, a cruel hired gun, a shootout in the street, even a cattle stampede), but it spins them out with such clean efficiency that you can't help but enjoy it. Directed skillfully and with heart, Crossfire Trail will satisfy any Western fan. Based on the novel by Louis L'Amour; also featuring Wilford Brimley and Mark Harmon. --Bret Fetzer
