DVD Review: Pretty good

I'm not a Will Hay fan particularly but enjoyed this quite a lot. Its a good mix of slapstick and outright stupidity that worked a lot better than I expected it to.

Hay plays Dr Benjemin Twist who is accidently employed as the head of a prison. In fact he's a fairly useless school Headmaster who is mistaken for somebody else. Naturally this leads to all sorts of chaos...
Whether it will stand up to repeated viewings I'm not sure, but certainly Hay and his regular cohorts Moore Marriott and Graham Moffett did a reasonable job in maintaining my interest for approximately 90 minutes.

The film is 70 years old now and might seem horribly out-dated to some people, so I'd look out for Will Hay films on TV before you buy this, as it might not be to your taste.
